The Brief

The Client engaged with us to design, supply and fit out an old Café Rouge site in the centre of Milton Keynes. The aim was to create a light but cosy and welcoming space where friends and family could enjoy great coffee and even better desserts. The existing site had been empty for several years, with a dark colour scheme and a large imposing bar, it was clear the entire space needed a rethink. We worked with the Client to develop front and back of house spaces that would allow for the new menu of high quality savoury and sweet dishes, along with a high end coffee and patisserie offer.

The Results

The new space has transformed the existing building from a dark bar, clad in weathered corrugated tin, to a light, airy and vibrant restaurant and coffee shop. If you’re passing The Hub in Milton Keynes, the ‘French Riviera’ dessert is particularly good!
